Corrections policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

Our commitment

We aim to publish accurate, current, and honest information. When we fall short, we correct the record promptly and publicly.

What counts as a correction

A correction is warranted when a published piece contains: a factual error, a misattribution, an outdated regulatory or legal statement, an incorrect price that has been cited (as opposed to normal price-refresh dynamics), a broken calculation, or an omission that materially misleads.

Correction severity tiers

  • Minor. Typographical error, broken link, formatting issue. Fixed silently.
  • Substantive. Factual error, misattribution, outdated legality, incorrect citation. Fixed with an inline correction note appended to the bottom of the page, dated, and explaining what changed.
  • Material. Error that affects a ranking outcome, scoring outcome, or vendor recommendation. Fixed with a top-of-page correction banner plus an inline note, and (for substantial corrections) an entry in the public corrections log.

How to request a correction

Email corrections@pepticker.com with the URL of the page, the specific issue, and any supporting evidence (source links, screenshots, vendor contact, etc.). We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 2 business days and to resolve material corrections within 5 business days.

Public corrections log

Material corrections (tier 3 above) are logged at /legal/corrections with the date, page URL, description of the error, and the correction that was applied. The log is a permanent public record.

Retractions

In the rare case that a published piece must be retracted in full, we replace the page content with a retraction notice explaining what was retracted and why, leaving the original URL live. The piece is not deleted or silently un-published.
