Corrections log.
When we get something wrong — a price mis-reported, a vendor rating out of date, a clinical detail mis-stated — we log it here. Every correction, dated, attributed, and visible. See our corrections policy for how we decide severity.
- Factualpepticker.com/guides/5-amino-1mq-research-overview· flagged by Internal QA (2026-05-05 content audit)Issue: The Neelakantan 2018 NNMT-inhibitor paper at PMC5826726 was repeatedly cited in the body, references section, and citation label using PMID 29787974 — but PMID 29787974 corresponds to a separate paper about indoor PM2.5 exposure, not 5-Amino-1MQ research. The correct PMID for the Neelakantan paper is 29155147.Correction: Replaced all instances of 'PMID 29787974' with the correct PMID 29155147 across the body prose, references list, and citation label. PMC5826726 (the PMC ID) was already correct and unchanged.
- Factualpepticker.com/guides/bpc-157-research-overview· flagged by Internal QA (2026-05-05 content audit)Issue: Two PMID-bearing citations on the BPC-157 research overview attributed papers to the wrong first authors. PMC9794587 (PK/ADME of BPC 157) was labeled as 'Chang et al.' though the first author is He L. PMID 40005999 (BPC 157 multifunctionality literature/patent review) was labeled as 'Sikiric et al.' though the first author is Józwiak M. Inline body prose mentions repeated the wrong attributions.Correction: Updated both citation labels and every inline body-prose mention to the correct first authors (He L et al. for PMC9794587; Józwiak M et al. for PMID 40005999). The cited papers themselves and their PubMed/PMC URLs are unchanged — only the attribution was wrong.
- Factualpepticker.com/guides/ipamorelin-research-overview· flagged by Internal QA (2026-05-05 content audit)Issue: Two PMID-bearing citations on the ipamorelin research overview attributed papers to the wrong first authors. PMID 10496658 (ipamorelin human PK/PD modeling, Pharm Res 1999) was labeled as 'Hansen et al.' though the first author is Gobburu JV. PMID 25331030 (phase 2 RCT in postoperative ileus, Int J Colorectal Dis 2014) was labeled as 'Popescu et al.' though the first author is Beck DE. Inline body prose mentions repeated the wrong attributions.Correction: Updated both citation labels and every inline body-prose mention to the correct first authors (Gobburu JV et al. for PMID 10496658; Beck DE et al. for PMID 25331030). The cited papers themselves and their PubMed URLs are unchanged — only the attribution was wrong.
- Issue: An earlier version of this guide cited a paper (initially PMID 26721126, then PMID 27732940) that did not match the citation context for MOTS-c mitochondrial regulation. Both PMIDs resolved to unrelated papers (resveratrol and prostatic vascular damage, respectively).Correction: The citations have been replaced with the correct primary sources: Lee C et al. 2015 Cell Metab (PMID 25738459) — original MOTS-c discovery paper — and Cobb LJ et al. 2016 Aging (PMID 27070352) — Naturally occurring mitochondrial-derived peptides as age-dependent regulators. We thank the auditor who flagged this.
